The Farm Sync Software is a new technology offered by FarmWorks for "Wireless Data Transfer". There are many reasons why the demand for wireless data transfer is so crucial for today's farm businesses. For years now, producers have used mobile devices to collect important data in the field. Collecting field records, soil sample locations, field boundaries, or variable rate maps using a mobile device has proven to improve the bottom line. However the risk of battery failure, drop and break, or corrupted memory cards can lose valuable information for one day or even months. Farm Sync links the field to the office by transferring data through a wireless network. Since most producers own - or could easily add - a wireless hub to their office computer, this technology could benefit any farmer or consultant. The days of downloading or uploading the data from a mobile device using a sync cable or memory cards are over. This keeps your records updated more regularly - allowing you to make better decisions with less work.

How does it work?

Simply enter the field records using a mobile device with WIFI capabilities. FarmWorks' mobile solutions make it easy to enter records with quick drop-down lists of names of fields, equipment, personnel, and supplies. Once the jobs are completed, Farm Sync does the rest for you. Simply drive within your wireless network range and have all of the data, such as field records and maps, automatically synchronize to the office computer. In order to boost your wireless range, antennas can be purchased to extend the range another 1000 ft or more.

• FarmWorks Office Software (Trac or Site Pro)
• FarmWorks Field Software (Tace Mate or Site Mate)
• Mobile Device with WIFI capabilities
• Wireless Network (Internet is not required)
• Antenna (optional) for wireless network to boost wireless signal
